How To Scale Your Ecommerce, Blogs & Social Media with The Catalog Effect : An Entrepreneur's Journey pt 25
Working lead generation on social media, running profitable blogs and ecommerce websites I stumbled across data that gave me a very basic assumption for online businesses.
Here goes! The more posts, the more money. The more products in your catalog the more money. The more tweets you send out the more eye-balls. The more videos on your youtube account the more total views your account will have. I CALL THIS THE CATALOG EFFECT.
I have played with many different terms but they all amount to the same things. When you are building a business online, you are basically publishing new urls in your catalog.
Example 1: You have a webstore on your own domain, and you publish a product or service page like http://www.pushyourrank.com/p/advertise.html and then you publish a post like http://www.pushyourrank.com/p/about-me.html (This is 2 URLs in Your Catalog)
You can see all of my videos on PushYourRank's YouTube Channel as soon as I post them. I repost the videos here to give you more context into what I was thinking and maybe what I was going through that day that might be relevant. Again my goal with these videos is to document what I have learned from entrepreneurship.

Example 2: If you have an Amazon store that can be found at Amazon.com/PushYourRankStore then every new product you publish will most likely be a subdomain like:
- Amazon.com/PushYourRankStore/Product1
- Amazon.com/PushYourRankStore/Product2
- Amazon.com/PushYourRankStore/Product3 etc.. (This is 3 URLs in Your Catalog)
Example 3: If you have a Twitter account that can be found at Twitter.com/PushYourRank then every new tweet you publish will most likely be a subdomain like:
- https://twitter.com/PushYourRank/status/803980787100119040
- https://twitter.com/PushYourRank/status/803895139139719168 (This is 3 URLs in Your Catalog)
THE POINT: The more urls, the more you get found online. The more people that find you the more potential customers. More potential customers equals more real customers AND YES MORE MONEY!
